How to Choose a Blog for Guest Posting

Guest posting can become an indispensable part of your marketing strategy – if properly done. Selecting the right blogs to deal with is no less important than post writing per se – which is exactly why we are going to discuss it.

1. Blog Content

It should belong to the same general area as what you write about in your own blog and be of high quality. Low-quality blogs either don’t have many readers or won’t attract the readers you want. If you have well-written content to offer, you should make sure to place it where it will be in good company.

2. Readership and Subscription Base

The primary goal of guest posting is, naturally, increasing your own readership and subscription base – which is why it is so important to check who reads the blog you are going to deal with. How likely is its audience to be interested in your content? How numerous is it? Who are these people? Are they valuable as subscribers? Make sure your blog is relevant for the target blog’s audience. if you are on your own you will have to do the analyzing yourself.http://modernh.com/en/plitka/

3. Blog Design
At a glance, the design of the blog that is going to publish your post is the last thing you should be concerned about. Nevertheless, there are aspects that are quite important, especially the two of them: how many posts there are on the front page, and how often does the blog update? More posts per page is better because your posts is going to sit on the front page for longer. As for update frequency, you want it to maintain a healthy balance. Too often means your post will quickly be archived; too rarely means fewer readers.

4. Readers’ Engagement

If the audience is passive and non-participative, its size doesn’t really matter. You should look for blogs that have an active discussion culture, are broadly shared on social media and with an author who actively looks for ways to improve the readers’ engagement. Firstly, people of such kind are more likely to spread the info about your post to other media. Secondly, they are more likely to become an active part of your own readership.

5. Blog Owner

And by this we don’t just mean whether the owner is an industry inlfuencer and a well-known blogger – this goes without saying. You, however, should also check how active the owner on social media (if he is, it means that your posts are going to be heavily promoted), how responsive he is towards the readers and, finally, how agreeable he is as a person and a business partner. If you can maintain friendly relations with him throughout, it makes the entire process of cooperation much more pleasant. If you are going for high-quality posts (and there isn’t any point doing otherwise), you will spend a lot of time and effort on each of them. Therefore, going an extra mile in your choice of posting platform isn’t a luxury – it is a self-evident necessity.

Does Windows XP installation is planned on top of the already established, for example, Windows 2000?

Конечно, и при этом будут сохранены все существующие настройки. Операционные системы Windows NT/2000 можно обновить до Windows XP Professional, а Windows 98/98SE/Me – до любой из двух редакций Windows XP (Home Edition и Professional).

What is different from Win XP Professional Win XP Home?

  • There is no remote access to the computer, making it impossible to connect remotely to a computer running Windows XP, with any other computer running Windows (and in fact, this feature is very useful in case of the need to work with the applications and data, if often is far from “main” computer)
  • No access to files and folders that are stored even when the computer is disconnected from the server on a shared network drive (this feature, as I understand it, only on the local network is necessary)
  • Removed function to work with Microsoft Windows Server servers and enterprise systems management ( “Home” in fact is not now)
  • Another minus – no multilingual user interface that allows you to change the interface language to work with localized dialogs, help files, dictionaries, and proofing tools etc. In other words, WinXP Pro is the possibility to change the interface of the operating system: sat at the computer, for example, Chinese, clicked a couple of times, and the English version of XP has become the Chinese (but it can be executed on only if they are equipped with special language modules – in the installation CD there are none).
  • There is no possibility of using data encryption and control access to them
  • No scalable processor support (Pro – up to support two-way multi-processing), but many of us multi-processor systems?
  • Summing up: from Windows XP Home Edition excluded those components that, according to Microsoft understanding, do not need at home using the operating system. How true those components are selected that “do not want”, I can not judge, but the difference in the cost of the two editions of Windows XP so palpable, that certainly is worth considering, but is it really necessary, for example, remote access to a computer …

Toggling Windows 8.1 Device Encryption ON and OFF

If you have performed a clean install of Windows 8.1, Device Encryption is turned on by default. If you have upgraded your system from a previous Windows installation, you can turn device encryption on by using PC info.

To open PC Info point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, click Settings, and then click Change PC settings. In the Device Encryption section, you can then select Turn On or Turn Off.

Organizations that do want to use Device Encryption at all can control its behavior on their Windows 8.1 systems using the PreventDeviceEncryption registry setting. This setting is located in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\BitLocker registry container and must be set to value 1 (True) to block Device Encryption. You can use a Group Policy Object (GPO) to modify it on all your Windows 8.1 systems.

How to change associate file types with specific programs?

If you choose the wrong program in the dialog box “Open With” and set “Always use the selected program to open these files.” And if the program is removed properly, leaving the system in association with the file types it supports. There are several ways to fix it.
Method 1: Try to associate the files you want with the right programs using all the same dialog “Open with”
Method 2: Control Panel \ All Control Panel Items \ Default Programs \ Ask comparing “Change Program”
Method 3: Search in the registry branch [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT]
Method 4: Use a utility Unassociate File Types, which allows you to remove both the association and remove the file type from the registry.
